The San Bernardino County Purchasing Department’s Purchasing Department mobile emergency response trailer known as, HELP - Handling Emergency Logistics and Procurement, is equipped for quick deployment in any emergency which requires support from the Purchasing Department. Historically, the Purchasing Department has been deployed to wildfire and earthquake emergencies throughout San Bernardino County. Procurement buyers are responders for Shelter Operations Compounds (SHOC) throughout the County.
