Using a human-centered approach, the Department of Finance (FIN) and the Property Acquisition Section (PAS) of the Department of Transportation (MCDOT) worked collaboratively to modify the Central Vendor Registration System (CVRS) so that it could be simpler to use and easier to access for individuals entitled to compensation arising out of property acquisitions needed for transportation projects.
