The I-10/Cedar Avenue Interchange Project (Project) is a joint effort among San Bernardino County (County), Caltrans, San Bernardino County Transportation Authority (SBCTA), the City of Fontana, and the City of Rialto. SBCTA is the lead agency for the Right-of-Way and Construction phases, with the County’s Real Estate Services Department (RESD) leading the Right-of-Way Acquisition services. Caltrans provides Project Design services and is the lead agency for Environmental compliance. The proposed Project capacity and operational improvements will impact the interchange at Cedar Avenue and I-10, between Slover Avenue and Bloomington Avenue. The Project will affect businesses, private property owners and the railroads. It will provide for much needed reduction in traffic congestion and improvement in traffic operations.
