About Sarah
Sarah Alexander is the Energy and Coastal Policy Advisor to Senator Bill Cassidy (R-LA). She is a native of New Orleans, Louisiana, and her portfolio includes energy, environment, natural resources, resiliency, infrastructure, transportation, maritime, forestry, public lands, and permitting issues. Sarah most recently served as a Professional Staff Member for the House Energy and Commerce Committee, supporting the Environment, Manufacturing, and Critical Materials Subcommittee and the Energy, Climate, and Grid Security Subcommittee. Prior to the Hill, Sarah worked as a Director at Mindset (formerly the Cypress Group), a bipartisan advocacy and advisory firm in Washington, DC. She graduated from the University of Virginia with a BA in Public Policy and Leadership and a minor in French.
