Pilar Sanchez

Pilar Sanchez is the County Executive over Health and Human Services at Travis County. At Travis County HHS, Pilar oversees over $80 million in contracts and social service investments targeted at improving the lives of Travis County residents. She also oversees direct services provided by Travis County such as home repair, rent and utility assistance, clothing closets, food pantries, and social work case management. Pilar is helping to launch new endeavors at Travis County such as a hospital based violence intervention program, jail diversion for persons with mental health challenges, and 11 newly constructed supportive housing properties.
