About Marjorie Cohen
Marjorie D. Cohen is the Project Manager for the Early Childhood Workforce Connector, a US DOL-funded Registered Apprenticeship Industry Intermediary, and the Senior Program Manager for US DOL’s Worker Outreach Evaluation and Analysis project at LPE Associates. She has over 20 years of experience in education and workforce development policy and research, technical assistance (TA), program management, and project leadership. Ms. Cohen has served as a project and task leader, subject matter expert, and TA provider for a variety of U.S. Departments of Labor and Education-funded projects on a range of topics, including workforce development, Registered Apprenticeship, early childhood education, higher education, adult education, and career and technical education. In her current role, Ms. Cohen supports early childhood care and education employers, in-demand sector employers, secondary and post-secondary education institutions, and other key stakeholders to provide high-quality early childhood education Registered Apprenticeship programs for career seekers. Prior to LPE Associates, she was a Program Associate at Manhattan Strategy Group, where she led technical assistance for other workforce development and Registered Apprenticeship projects, the Senior College and Career Readiness Specialist at the American Institutes for Research, a Senior Policy Analyst for Education and Workforce Development at the National Governors Association, and the Principal Associate for Education with the National League of Cities. Ms. Cohen has a BA from the University of California, Davis, and an MPP from Georgetown University.
