About Madelaine

Madelaine serves as program manager for economic mobility where she is responsible for a variety of professional assignments aimed at informing, educating, and assisting rural county officials across the country in their efforts to bridge capacity gaps, promote upward economic mobility and alleviate poverty. Prior to joining NACo, she served as program manager on the racial economic justice team at Prosperity Now. In this role, she delivered data driven, capacity-building programs, and technical assistance to nonprofit executives, focusing on economic equity, asset development and ecosystems change strategies. She created key resources on economic mobility for low- to moderate-income communities and managed various trainings, workshops, and roundtable events for nonprofit leaders, funders and local officials. Madelaine earned her bachelor's degree in international affairs, history and economics from University of California, Riverside.
