Jackie Schmitz

Jackie Schmitz serves as Democratic Staff Director for the House Transportation and Infrastructure Committee’s Subcommittee on Highways and Transit, which has jurisdiction over highways, transit, highway safety, motor carriers, and surface transportation innovation policy. Jackie previously served as a transportation, energy, and environmental policy advisor in the U.S. Senate; and as Director of Government Relations at Van Scoyoc Associates, where she represented an array of transportation and municipal clients.
