Hon. Bruno Sabatier

Bruno Sabatier has served District 2 of Lake County, in California, since 2019.  Prior to that he was a councilmember for the City of Clearlake for 4 years.  Serving his community is a passion, and his District is on the move to a better tomorrow.  With a District that includes over 24% poverty rates, you wouldn't be surprised to know that economic mobility was lacking, health outcomes were dismal, and those who are justice involved rate higher than the average across America.  These are the reasons that Bruno is involved with his home state association, California State Association of Counties (CSAC), and the National Association of Counties (NACo) in order to bring change to his District and surrounding areas... and change is taking place.

For CSAC, Bruno is the Vice-Chair for the Administration of Justice committee.  For NACo, he is a member of both the Economic Mobility Leadership Advisory Council and the Health Policy Steering Committee.  By being a part of these committees, Bruno is able to focus on the overarching needs of his communities and bring home new ideas and solutions that can resolve generational impact and trauma.

As an immigrant to this country, Bruno does not take his experiences and opportunities for granted.  His work is dedicated to bringing as many opportunities back and creating as many opportunities for the people he serves so they may lead a better life with better outcomes for generations to come.
