About Deanna M. Nadermann

Deanna M. Nadermann serves as the Director of Behavioral Health Services and Special Projects for Hamilton County Juvenile Court. After earning a bachelor's degree in psychology from Marietta College, Deanna began her career in the juvenile justice system as a youth worker in a residential facility in Butler County, Ohio. She has since gained over 32 years of knowledge and clinical experience in the rehabilitation and diversion of Court-involved youth both in Ohio and Virginia through various roles in this sector, including as a juvenile probation officer, diversion counselor, and specialized court coordinator. As part of her current role, she coordinates the Court's participation in the Juvenile Detention Alternatives Initiative (JDAI), oversees unofficial and diversion services for youth involved with the Court including the design and implementation of the Court's Assessment Center, manages the Court's specialized dockets including the Family Treatment Drug Court and official and diversion mental health courts, provides administrative oversight for the behavioral health clinic, the clinical arm of the Court that provides assessment and specializes in early intervention and treatment for at risk youth.
