Curt Oldfield

Dr. Curt Oldfield is the eighth President of Spoon River College.  Curt grew up in Farmington, Illinois and went on to graduate from Spoon River College and Illinois State University.  Curt completed his Master of Science degree from University of Illinois and completed his doctorate degree from Ferris State University in Big Rapids, Michigan.  Curt started his career in education, teaching agriculture. Curt served as Vice President of Instruction for Northeast Iowa Community College. Curt began serving at President for Spoon River College in July 2012. 

Curt previously served on Fulton County (IL) Board and enjoys being involved in the communities across the district. He is a member of the board for the Macomb Area Economic Development Corporation, Spoon River Partnership for Economic Development, Canton Area Chamber of Commerce, a member of the Macomb Community Quality of Life Committee, President of the Canton Rotary Club, and board member for the Local Workforce Investment Agency #15.   Curt enjoys helping students and businesses improve so that our communities can grow and prosper.
