About Cathy Arbogast
Cathy Arbogast is the Administrator for Centre County Mental Health/Intellectual Disabilities/Early Intervention – Drug and Alcohol Office. As the administrator, Ms. Arbogast is responsible for contract monitoring and oversight of programs in these service areas, as well as supporting program development and community education. She also oversees case management services in each program area, with staff dedicated to connecting people with treatment and recovery supports, community and residential supports, and skill-building services that meet their needs.
Ms. Arbogast holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Rehabilitation Education from Penn State University and a Masters in Business Administration from Saint Francis University. She has been an employee of Centre County Government for 35 years, having spent all of those years in this department working in some capacity in each of the four program areas. She has a particular interest in helping individuals establish connections in their home communities, comprehensive case coordination services, recovery support for individuals in the early stages of their recovery, and prevention education in all areas to community members of all ages.
