Andres Sanabria

Andres Sanabria is the Coordinator of the OECD Mining Regions and Cities Initiative at the OECD. He has advanced the framework to measure well-being in mining regions and the OECD’s work on improving Indigenous people’s development in a mining context. Over his 7 years at the OECD, he has also coordinated rural country reviews and supported the development of the OECD rural policy framework. Andres is also an invited lecturer on rural development at Paris-Dauphine University and Sciences Po, Paris. Prior to joining the OECD, Andres worked as a principal economist in the financial and petroleum industries. He holds a Master’s degree in Public Affairs from the London School of Economics and Sciences Po-Paris.
