About
Amy Grenier (she/her) is Policy and Practice Counsel with the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA) Government Relations team, where she handles the asylum and border portfolio. Prior to joining AILA, Amy practiced employment, family, and humanitarian immigration law in Boston and advised on a range of immigration matters as a policy consultant for nonprofits across the country. She has clerked for the Arlington Immigration Court, the DHS Office of Policy, and National Immigration Project of the National Lawyers Guild. Amy has a JD from Northeastern University School of Law, an MA in Migration Studies from the University of Sussex, and a BA in History from Hollins University. She is a licensed attorney in the state of Massachusetts.
