Senior Program Manager – Resilient Economies & Communities

About Alseta

Alseta serves as senior program manager for NACo's Resilient Economies & Communities team. Her experience includes the coordination and management of both domestic and international education projects, workforce development policy and programing, and facilitating capacity-building technical assistance to organizations racial economic equity and ecosystem change strategies.

Prior to NACo, she worked at Prosperity Now as a senior program manager with their Racial Wealth Equity Strategy initiative and Programs team. She has also worked at AARP International and A Wider Circle, a local community-based organization. Prior to that, she worked for DC’s Workforce Investment Council. She has also worked on school health and advocacy for K-12 education policy at ASCD and at the American Association of Colleges for Teacher Education (AACTE), the National Council on Economic Education (NCEE), and the Academy for Educational Development (AED).

Alseta received a master's degree in International Training and Education and a bachelor's degree in Spanish and Latin American Area Studies from American University in Washington, D.C.
