About Zach Greene
Zach Greene is a Senior Manager, Clean Energy with the U.S. Energy Program at the World Resources Institute (WRI). In this role, he supports local governments and large energy buyers achieve their energy goals by leading cohorts on innovative planning and procurement strategies, advising on regulatory and wholesale market issues, and making clean energy technologies more accessible to low- and moderate-income residents. Zach leads WRI’s efforts as a SolSmart partner, and he previously served as Program Director for SolSmart at another nonprofit. Prior to WRI, Zach also served as the Climate Advisor to the City of Philadelphia and a Communications Director for the former mayor of the City of Austin.
