Wesley Sparkman

Wesley (Wes) Sparkman is the Director of The Tamara D. Grigsby Office for Equity and Inclusion in Dane County Wisconsin. For over 20 years, Wes has worked to promote equity in employment contracting and service delivery. He serves as Chairman of the SSM Health Wisconsin Board of Directors. Wes also serves as Vice-Chair of the UW-Madison School of Sociology’s Board of Visitors, Past President of the Madison Rotary Club and Madison Rotary Foundation and a current member of the United Way Law Enforcement Leaders of Color Collaboration. Wes served ten years as a member and two terms as President of the City of Madison Police and Fire Commission. Wes is a current member of the Madison Metropolitan School District Superintendent’s Human Resource Advisory Committee and has a BA in Sociology from UW-Madison and a Master of Public Affairs degree from the UW-Madison Robert M. La Follette School of Public Affairs.
