Vivian Demian

Vivian Thomas has over 26 years of mental health and addiction experience in community, acute care and tertiary care settings. She started her career working as a clinician before quickly moving into management. Through her management career while in the industry, she led significant operational improvement and strategic planning of services and co-chaired the Mental Health and Addictions steering committee for the large regions, providing system-level operational and strategic planning. As part of a Senior Leadership Team, Ms. Thomas developed integrated program plans and led significant operational improvements and strategic transformational change at a regional level. Since joining KPMG in 2015, Ms. Thomas has led the majority of the Canadian and US engagements for mental health and addictions operational evaluation and improvement, strategic planning, system redesign and operational efficiencies while always keeping quality, the consumer and family at the centre of each decision. She holds a masters degree in social work, a masters degree in business administration and is a Black Belt in Lean Six Sigma.
