About Tramaine El-Amin
Tramaine EL-Amin currently serves as the Assistant Vice President for Strategic Partnerships at the National Council for Behavioral Health in Washington, DC. In this role, she provides oversight and leads the development of strategic and corporate initiatives for Mental Health First Aid USA® as well as process improvement and tactical planning activities for a variety of National Council public education and workforce development programs. As a certified National Trainer and Instructor for both the Mental Health First Aid and Youth Mental Health First Aid curricula, she has contributed to more than 1.6 million individuals being trained across the country. Prior to her tenure at the National Council, she led the proactive response to changes related to the Affordable Care Act legislation for the City of Philadelphia’s Department of Behavioral Health and Intellectual disAbility Services.
