About Terry Green
Terry Green is the CEO/Founder of the social enterprise Think Make Live, a motivational organization geared towards empowering leadership development, community engagement and social justice for opportunity youth. Terry is a consultant, speaker, mentor, and community leader. He has served as a member of the SMART Start National Advisory council, the first YouthBuild USA national council that focused on the issues of court involved youth. This experience inspired him to help peers who have been through similar situations. Terry is currently an elected member of the YouthBuild USA National Alumni Council and he travels all over the nation hosting youth civic engagement and leadership development summits. He received the YouthBuild USA 2015 Outstanding Commitment to Leadership and Social Justice Award. He is also a member of Opportunity Youth United, a national movement of young people and allies working to increase opportunity and decrease poverty in America. Terry is an active alumnus of Inside-Out Prison Exchange program offered by The Ohio State University, and has been an invited guest lecturer at universities and regional meetings in prisons, where he discusses the barriers returning citizens face upon release. Terry is currently an advisory board member for Unity House, a home that provides individuals recovering from alcohol and other drug addictions with a safe sober living environment and recovery support. An active alumnus of the United Way of Central Ohio Neighborhood Leadership Academy, which is a program that brings together community members who are passionate about neighborhood improvement and positive environmental change. Terry is a former Community Organizer for America Forward Today’s Student Campaign, a campaign to amplify the voices of the college students that are overcoming challenges and barriers while still in school.
