About Susan Munroe
Susan Munroe joined Chambers for Innovation and Clean Energy in 2018 after serving for seven years as a chamber of commerce president in the heart of Midwest wind-farm country. Munroe led her board, community and other Ohio chambers of commerce to amplify and advance the economic benefits of wind and solar farm development.
Munroe now assists chamber and economic development leaders throughout the country to navigate what is often the number one opportunity for economic growth in their communities- clean energy development. Additionally, she serves as a renewable energy strategist for Business Barber Advisors, a national economic development consultant group based in Texas.
A graduate of the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, Munroe also earned a Masters in Corporate Communications at Fairleigh Dickinson University and now lives in the Raleigh, NC area.
