About Pam Miller
Pam Miller was appointed Administrator of the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s (USDA) Food and Nutrition Service (FNS) in August 2019. Prior, she was the Senior Associate Administrator for policy at FNS. Before joining USDA, Ms. Miller worked for the U.S. House of Representatives for 20 years. During her career she was senior professional staff for the House Agriculture Committee, then joined the House Agriculture Appropriations Subcommittee, serving as the lead professional staff for FNS. Her experience as staff for the Agriculture and Appropriations Committees gives her a unique perspective on implementing nutrition policy at USDA. Ms. Miller received her degree in agricultural communications from Texas Tech University.
