Marykate Guilfoyle

Since 2017, Marykate Guilfoyle has worked for the Suffolk County Press Office, where she currently serves as Director of Communications for Suffolk County Executive Steve Bellone.  As county spokeswoman, Marykate has handled all facets of media relations, managed communications staff, and overseen public information across Suffolk County departments and agencies. In addition, she has worked closely on a number of critical initiatives and projects for the Bellone administration, including but not limited to issues involving public safety, water quality, infrastructure projects, and budgetary matters. Marykate graduated from Hofstra University with a Bachelor of Arts in Public Relations and Political Science.
