About Margareth Legaspi, Ed.D.
Dr. Margareth Legaspi has 20 years of experience in education administration with demonstrated ability to implement effective systems and programs, manage budgets, and support the high-quality implementation of initiatives and programs. Dr. Legaspi’s academic background includes a BA with certification in special education and English as a second language; MA in curriculum and instruction focused on bilingual special education; a Doctorate in education with a special education focus; and a certificate in educational leadership and administration. She has experience as the Head Start State Collaboration Director, collaborating and coordinating improved systems and data integration across Head Start and Early Head Start programs. She also led an effort to ensure the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding for data sharing between Head Start programs and DC Public Schools. Dr. Legaspi has served as a special education teacher, researcher, director of assessment, manager of evaluation, and as Interim Assistant Superintendent and Deputy Assistant Superintendent of early learning in Washington, D.C. before serving in her current role as the chief education strategy officer at Verite Educational Services.
