Lieutenant Jim Miller

Jim Miller is a Lieutenant with the Allegan County Sheriff’s Office in charge of jail operations.  He has been a corrections officer for 21 years during which time he has worked all functions within the corrections system.  Jim serves on the Grand Rapids Community College Corrections Advisory Board, Michigan Municipal Risk Management Agency Corrections Advisory Board, Michigan Sheriff’s Coordinating and Training Policy Council, Michigan Sheriff’s Association Corrections Committee, Allegan County Coordinating Council on Domestic Violence, and the Michigan Joint Task Force on Jail and Pretrial Incarceration.  In 2 weeks Jimi will graduate from Ferris State University with a Bachelor’s in Business Administration and a minor in Leadership and Project Management.  Jim lives in Spring Lake, Michigan with his wife and 3 teenage children.
