Leo Flor

Leo Flor (he/him) is the Director of King County’s Department of Community and Human Services. The Department seeks to mitigate or undo systemic inequities and transform human services through initiatives such as Health Through Housing, Best Starts for Kids, and the Veterans, Seniors and Human Services Levy for the 2.3 million people of King County. Leo managed key elements of King County’s COVID-19 response like rent assistance and isolation and quarantine, and also oversees countywide behavioral health investments, crisis system outreach and engagement, affordable housing production, youth development, and developmental disabilities programs. Leo was previously a legal aid attorney and before that served in the U.S. Army as an Infantry Officer in Iraq and Afghanistan.
