Jeffrey Lata

Jeff Lata is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) and the assistant director of adult outpatient services for the DuPage County Health Department. Jeff has been in clinical practice for 23 years, 21 of which have involved working with the criminal justice system. In addition to outpatient mental health and substance use treatment programs, he oversees the Forensic Behavioral Health (FBH) program that includes outpatient fitness restoration, substance use treatment and partnerships with mental health court and drug court. Additionally, the FBH program works with the DuPage County Sheriff’s Office on several initiatives including the Post-Crisis Response Team, Behavioral Health Re-Entry and classes for a substance use recovery pod within the county’s correctional facility. Mr. Lata is also an approved instructor to provide mental health and substance use classes for Crisis Intervention Team (CIT) training.
