James Romoser

James Romoser is the editor of SCOTUSblog, an independent source of news and analysis on the Supreme Court. He also writes a weekly legal affairs column for National Journal. James attended law school at Georgetown and practiced First Amendment litigation for two years in Washington, D.C. In addition to his brief career as a lawyer, he has an extensive background in journalism, including as an associate editor and legal affairs reporter for Inside Health Policy. His first journalism job was as a county government reporter in North Carolina, where he where he covered Davie County, Forsyth County, and Yadkin County for the Winston-Salem Journal.
