Hon. Tammy Tincher

Tammy Tincher is President of the Greenbrier County Commission, W. Va. Tincher was originally elected in 2019 for a six-year term. She lives in Rainelle, W. Va. Tincher serves on NACo’s Board of Directors and in several NACo leadership positions, including Vice Chair of Agriculture and Rural Development Committee; Vice Chair of Membership Committee; and Member of Healthy Counties, Arts & Culture Commission and Resilient Counties Advisory Board. She also serves on the County Commissioners Association of West Virginia Board of Directors and Legislative Committee as well as the West Virginia Association of Counties Board of Directors. Tincher is a Licensed Insurance Agent & Small Business Owner. She received her BS Animal & Poultry Science from Virginia Tech. In her free time, she enjoys the outdoors, the water sports and reading.
