About Hon. Brenton Davis
Brenton Davis is an Iraqi Freedom Combat Veteran (OIF-1; 2003) with 23 years of active and reserve military service in both the United States Navy (enlisted) and United States Army. He is an Infantry Officer currently holding the rank of Major in the United States Army Reserve.
As the duly elected Erie County Executive, he is one of only four elected County Executives of the 67 Pennsylvania Counties. He is the youngest elected County Executive in Pennsylvania state history elected at 38 years of age.
His professional education includes a B.A in Psychology from Edinboro University of Pennsylvania and a Masters of Professional Studies degree in Community and Economic Development - Applied Economics at Pennsylvania State University.
He currently serves as Chair of NACo's International Economic Development Task force and as a member of the Economic Mobility Leadership Network. In the private sector, he owns a service-disabled veteran owned heavy construction firm focusing on heavy equipment, land clearing, marine construction, and Lake Bank restoration projects.
