About Hon. Bob Fox
Commissioner Bob Fox lives on a fourth generation farm in Birch Cooley Township and serves on the Minnesota State Extension Committee for the Association of Minnesota Counties. He served as a township supervisor for 12 years before being elected as a commissioner in January of 2003. He also represents Minnesota on the National Association of County Agriculture and Rural Affairs steering committee as Vice-Chair and is a member of the National Counties Association’s Board of Directors. Commissioner Fox was a a member of the Renville County Economic Development Commission in 2000 and served on the Minnesota Corn Growers Association for six years, including as state president in 1996. He also served three years on the National Corn Growers Board and was Chairman of the National Public Relations Committee in 1998. Commissioner Fox was a charter board member of the Franklin Ambulance Association in 2000, serving until being elected Renville County Commissioner and is a thirty-seven year member of the Franklin Lion’s Club, the Renville County Historical Society and the Fairfax Depot Association.
