Erin Kupferberg

Erin Kupferberg has over 15 years of experience in education; working across early childhood, K-12, alternative, and adult education grade bands with a specific focus on charter school data, accountability, and oversight. Ms. Kupferberg has a Bachelor of Science in Animal Physiology and Neuroscience from the University of California, San Diego, and a MA in Teaching Secondary Education from Seattle Pacific University. She maintains a secondary science professional teaching certificate. In her work with charter schools, Ms. Kupferberg also oversaw the Classroom Assessment Scoring System (CLASS) observations for pre-kindergarten teachers, worked with stakeholders to develop accountability metrics, and collected and reported on assessment and other required data for accountability and reporting. She also has experience in program management at the college level and coordinated work on early childhood and K-12 data systems. Ms. Kupferberg most recently served as the Senior Manager for Accountability at the DC Public Charter School Board before joining Verite Educational Services as the senior education strategy officer.
