About Dr. Drew Pinsky
Dr. Drew Pinsky, a physician and graduate of the Keck University of Southern California School of Medicine, completed his residency in internal medicine and was subsequently selected as the chief medical resident. He spent several decades practicing internal medicine in the acute hospital and outpatient settings.
In addition to his practice in internal medicine, he worked for approximately three decades at Las Encinas Hospital, a free standing, full spectrum of service psychiatric facility, where he served as director of the medical services department and became program medical director for chemical dependency services for 20 years.
He is double board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine and the American Board of Addiction Medicine, where he is also a fellow. Additionally, he serves as a fellow with the American College of Physicians and is a member of the AOA Honors Society.
He served many years as an assistant clinical professor at Keck USC School of Medicine in both the departments of medicine and psychiatry.
Alongside his medical career, he has had the privilege to have participated in a number of radio and television programs.
