The U.S. Department of Energy’s (DOE) National Community Solar Partnership (NCSP) is offering free technical assistance (TA) to organizations seeking to expand access to affordable community solar. NCSP is a coalition of community solar stakeholders working to provide every American household access to affordable community solar by 2025. Only NCSP partners are able to apply for the free TA – click here to become a partner – and the application process is competitive. There will be an informational webinar on the TA offering and application process on March 17 at 2:30pm ET. You can register for the webinar here. Applications are due by March 31.

According to NCSP, interested parties looking to become partners must plan to:

  • Actively engage to achieve your organization’s goals for community solar
  • Support all efforts for sharing information
  • Contribute data, when possible, to confirm progress
  • Share lessons learned

Partner Eligibility: The NCSP welcomes participation from all entities that meet the following requirements: (a) citizens or permanent residents of the United States or its territories; (b) private or public entities, such as townships, tribes, corporations, governmental agencies, or other organizations that are legally formed in and maintain a primary place of business in the United States or its territories.
