About Jack Peterson
Jack serves as the managing director of membership and events. In this role, he leads NACo’s conferences, membership, and corporate relations team in building world-class events and experiences for all aspects of NACo’s membership. Previously, Jack directly led the NACo corporate relations program, served as NACo's deputy director of government affairs and staffed several NACo committees, including the Finance, Pensions and Intergovernmental Affairs Policy Steering Committee, the Human Services and Education Steering Committee, and the Veterans and Military Services Committee.
Prior to joining NACo, Jack was a government relations associate for Urban Swirski & Associates and worked in multiple offices on Capitol Hill. Jack holds a bachelor’s degree in political science from Davidson College, just north of Charlotte, N.C. and completed his masters in public administration through the University of North Carolina Chapel Hill in December 2023.
